Soul Care Kenya

As seven of us prayed and waited on The Lord, no one could have imagined all that God would do in a very short amount of time.

A Board of Directors was formed for Soul Care Kenya and God began using these men and women in mighty ways. The Soul Care training manual was translated into Kiswahili and in less than 15 months they ministered to over 2000 men and women in many regions of Kenya and in 5 surrounding countries.

The Holy Spirit confirmed that God intends to heal individuals and also the ‘soul’ of Africa by replacing the lies of witchcraft, tribalism and Islam with HIS truth.

One example of the mighty work that God is doing comes from the rural area of Mt. Elgon. Access to this area is difficult and involves walking on foot up steep mountain passages.

In Mt. Elgon there exists a spirit of anger, a spirit of revenge and a spirit of traditional tribal practice and belief. After hearing the Soul Care teachings, they opened their hearts to be healed with the true word of God. After prayer, the men and women in Mt. Elgon repented of their sins and confessed the lie of the devil in their hearts that had wounded them. They received healing and thanked God for sending Soul Care to their region which is often rejected by many ‘urban’ preachers.

Several weeks later a letter was received from a Pastor in the area.  he wrote —

The Soul Care teachings came at the right time which delivered many from the bondage of tradition, anger, revenge and the lies of Satan who has dominated the minds, feeling and thoughts of the church. My ministry has started experiencing the ultimate freedom and love of God.

I apologize for delaying in writing to you since you brought
to us a word of God. Here in Mt. Elgon there is no preacher from town who has come to teach us the word of God but you did plus giving us the training manuals, that’s a great miracle in our region.

Many people now are being healed including Pastors. Now they are saying we will no more circumcise our daughters and drink beer again.
