Soul Care Congo

What God can do no man can do.

This is the testimony that came from Bukavu, Congo. Bukavu is a growing city in Southern part of Congo. The Christians of this region have an intimate heart for God’s word. Five bishops, 13 reverends, 21 pastors and church leaders came for 3 days to hear the Soul Care teachings. They desired for their hearts to be healed with God’s truth. In Congo, people live with fear, hatred and anger because of the war which they have lived through.

The meetings were held in a small slum estate called Kasa Roho which means ‘strengthen your heart’. Many repented of the spirit of hatred and anger and prayed for God’s mercy to touch and heal them. The Lord healed almost everyone who attended the meeting. He even reconciled broken personal relationships. In private, 7 men and 3 women admitted that they attended the same church but would never greet each other. One married couple admitted that they lived in the same house but had not spoken to each other for 6 months. After their souls were healed their relationships were restored.

One year later – Soul Care meetings were held in the Goma Region.  Most of those attending were pastors and church leaders.  One lady traveled by the motor boat on water for 8 hours to come and hear the teachings.  God is using women who are pastors to reach lost souls. The teaching was given that God has called women in the ministry not to be second class citizens but to be among the women who move with the word of God as the mighty warriors of God.

Only God can do this!  All Praise to HIM!
