Mission

The mission of Soul Care is to co-operate with Christian evangelistic and humanitarian ministries: partnering with them to heal the whole person — body, soul and spirit in a way that is appropriate and effective in each culture and community.

There are many valuable church and para-church ministries that care for the spiritual and physical needs of the people they serve:  the Gospel is preached, the Bible is taught, food, clothing and shelter are provided.  However, our souls cannot be ignored.  Healing is incomplete when the lies we believe and the wounds we have experienced are not addressed.

As an International Ministry, Soul Care will maintain its vision, doctrine and guiding principles while adapting itsmission to partner with existing ministries that meet the physical and spiritual needs of a community.

In teaching and training seminars, pastors, spiritual leaders and lay people will learn how the Holy Spirit can heal our souls through listening and praying.

And Jesus says: Hear the parable of the sower…And the seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with perseverance. (Luke 8:15)
When the soul is healed, it becomes fertile soil that can receive the truth of God.

Soul Care will join with other churches and organizations to create a ministry that is unique and appropriate for each culture and community to encourage not only spiritual and physical healing, but soul healing as well.
