In the Summer of 2021, after experiencing the devasting effects of global economic shutdowns – God began to burden our hearts for those who were hungry or without basic shelter, those who were orphaned or destitute or without financial resource in this world.
As our hearts were broken by what we saw – God birthed in us “Given Freely Ministries”.
This new humanitarian arm of Soul Care International has a two-fold purpose – Blessing the needy and Transforming the servants. As God uses us to bless others – the blessing we receive is far greater!
Because there are so many who have needs – we determined to wait on God and have God lead us to those HE wanted to bless. It was our joy to build houses and out-houses, provide mattresses and bedding, food and water, pay school fees and medical bills – whatever the need – Our God saw each one and it was our joy to give freely!
The needs are great! But our Generous Good God has done amazing things!
Kindness to the poor is a loan to The Lord and HE will repay the lender. Proverbs 19:17
